Assessment and Evaluation Structure
At LFPS we believe in fostering holistic development and academic excellence. Our comprehensive Assessment and Evaluation Structure is designed to nurture students’ intellectual, creative, and personal growth.
1. Pre-Primary Level
At the pre-primary level, student progress is assessed through three evaluations throughout the year, with performance reported in grades. Play-based learning is a cornerstone in pre-primary education in our school. It enhances cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth of the children; encourages creativity, problem-solving, and innovation; develops communication, empathy, and teamwork through interactive play and above all nurtures a natural curiosity and joy for learning.
2. Class I-VIII
Class I onwards, the student progress is assessed through regular assessment of student understanding and identifying areas for improvement. This helps the teachers to adjust teaching strategies to meet the student needs. This also aims to encourage students to take ownership of their learning and build confidence.
