Industrial Visit Report – Commerce Stream
Little Flower Public School, Kollamula organized an industrial visit for the Commerce stream students as part of their academic project on Tuesday, 15th July 2025. The visit was conducted at St. Mary’s Rubbers Pvt. Ltd., Koovappally, Kanjirappally, one of the prominent rubber processing units in the region.
The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with firsthand exposure to the functioning of an industrial unit, and to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications. The students were warmly welcomed by the management and were given a comprehensive tour of the facility.
During the visit, the students gained valuable insights into the various stages of rubber processing, supply chain management, quality control mechanisms, and the company’s marketing strategies. The interaction with the company officials helped the students understand key concepts such as production management, business ethics, labor relations, and corporate social responsibility.
The experience was both educational and inspiring, enhancing the students’ understanding of real-world business operations and equipping them with practical knowledge relevant to their commerce curriculum.
